One thing that we love about our job is getting to travel to new places. Kat & Casey came to Charleston for their engagement session, but their wedding was held at a venue in their hometown of Dayton, Ohio. It was our first time shooting at Canyon Run Ridge, and it always gorgeous.

These two were a dream to work with. They were so sweet and when their wedding day didn’t go 100% according to plan, the kept their cool and we all adapted to make the best outcome. Right after their beautiful ceremony, while everyone was being escorted back to the reception area, a huge unexpected downpour occurred. Due to this, the photos we were supposed to take after the ceremony couldn’t happen in the planned way. We decided it would be best to focus on a few quick photos of the wedding party and helping get everyone dry after the rain, and meet up the next morning for a quick Bridal Session for the couple.
