Spencer & Nathan || Ranson Hollows Wedding || WV Wedding Photographer
It is so hard to believe that Spencer and Nathan have been married for a year! When we first sat down at Starbucks and talked about their big day, Spencer described the wedding as Rustic Elegance, and that is exactly what was delivered. From a beautiful barn adorned with wreaths to a gorgeous crystal chandelier, and not to forget all of the sparkly little details and personalized wine bottles that most certainly left a lasting impression - all the details fit the theme. There were so many amazing moments from their big day, but here are a few specifics that really stood out in our minds:
1. The personalization of the ceremony space. Anyone can get married in front of a barn, but Spencer and Nathan put their own touch on the rustic backdrop by adding their initials. So cute!
2. The Maid of Honor dress. We love the trend of mixing up the dresses in the bridal party, but Spencer chose to take it a step further and put her Maid of Honor in a gold sequin dress that was gorgeous.
3. Sparkly Kate Spade Keds. I think we will always list these when they find their way into a wedding we photograph. Elegant, sparkly, comfortable, and Kate - clearly an easy choice for a memorable detail.
4. The Father-Daughter dance. Not only did Spencer and her Dad get down, but the wedding party also joined in during the chorus and it was truly special.
5. The personalized wine bottles. The perfect elegant touch.
Here are some photos of their gorgeous day. We can't thank Mr. and Mrs. Poling enough for choosing us to be a part of one of the biggest days of their life. We have loved watching your love grow over the past year, and we wish you so many more years of happiness.
xoxo,
Summer & Christie
