Housewarming Party || Living with the Linger-Hunts|| Personal

The past few months have been a whirlwind for us. We bought and moved in to our first home. And though it was super exciting, it has been a lot of hard work. We tore down wallpaper, re-painted, re-decorated, and put together furniture. Let’s just all agree that from now on, we try to just buy furniture from Home Goods, ya know, the already put together kind. And even though we have a sea of totes in the basement, we thought it was time to have over some friends to help us celebrate. Our “Home Sweet Home” Candy Bar was a hit! 

We kept the menu simple, and it was SO good. We served: Street Tacos, Mexican Street Corn, Chips & Salsa, and Fruit Salad. 🌮🌽🍍💕

The whole day truly felt like a blur, but we were able to grab a couple selfies with a few guests. We really need to work on our selfie game. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Our newly finished deck was the perfect party spot. It took us a long time find furniture that we liked, but we are super happy with the end result.  We wanted our deck to not only be functional, but a stylish extension of the inside of our home. We wanted a table for eating and entertaining and a comfortable seating area where Christie could snuggle up with a good book. After defining both of those spaces, there was still room for the flamingo ball pit for the kiddos. We can’t wait to spend the summer on this deck.

A party isn’t really a party without a proper “Thank You.” 🖤💕🌿

We wish we could’ve invited you all! But don’t worry! Once we have some more projects completed, we fully intend on doing a home tour, complete with before/after shots.
