Milledge & Laura || Charleston, WV Engagement

We are full swing ahead in the month of May and we are so excited that it is officially Milledge & Laura’s Wedding month! We know, we know - we are always excited about weddings. However, there is something special about being asked to photograph the wedding of a high school classmate. We first met Laura at Capitol High School in our hometown of Charleston, WV. Our class motto was “the best mix in ‘06” and we have to agree. We had a wonderful array of classmates and of course Laura is no exception. So, when Laura first reached out we were super excited to talk to her about her big day. During her Skype consultation we found out that the big day would be taking place in her current home city in Georgia. Y’all know one of our favorite states to visit is Georgia. So, of course we were doing our happy dance. After our first Skype consultation, Laura and Milledge decided to travel all the way back to Charleston, WV to do their engagement session in some of Laura’s favorite places that showcase the Charleston area. Laura shared with us before meeting Milledge that though he can be serious at times, he was super playful and silly at heart. We were super excited to meet him. Once at their engagement session it wasn’t very long before we discovered how playful, laidback, and in love they both are. From fun dips and twirls to lots of smiles and laughter we think that their engagement photos capture them as a couple perfectly!
