It’s hard to believe that Kayla & Paden said their vows a little over a year ago on a rainy day last summer. It was like a a scene from a movie as during the ceremony the rain started to come down and a sea of umbrellas went up. Though standing in the rain, they didn’t seem to mind since they were standing hand-in-hand as man and wife. Luckily throughout there day there were a few moments of sunshine, and we were able to find a lovely indoor option for some photos of the couple. We are so excited to share what we loved about their wedding with you!
Five Things we Loved about this Wedding:
1. The Bride’s stunning hair piece. It was the perfect substitute for a veil. Intricate and Classic, while still feeling playful. It was the perfect accessory for Kayla’s bridal style.
2. The mixed/matched wedding party! We loved how all the girls wore different dress cuts but all matched in color. And for the gentleman, different color vests in the same color scheme. This little details made each member of the party more noticeable in group shots.
3. The Venue was amazingly gorgeous. A flower garden beside an historical mansion? Yes, Please!! The soft yellow mansion made for the perfect backdrop for family formals and offered a little shelter from the rain.
4. The Greenhouse was a blessing we stumbled upon to give us a beautiful backdrop while providing shelter from the rain outside. Perfectly lit and quite cozy for just the two of them, the photos turned out beautiful!
5. The resiliency of the Bride & Groom! Rainy wedding days are not for the the faint at heart, but Kayla and Paden let their love for each other trump everything else.
