We are so tired of this rain! So, why not warm up our feed with a wedding from June that most certainly warmed our hearts? 🖤 We should've known after talking with Olivia and David (who were located in sunny Florida) via Skype at their consultation that the Floridians would choose to get married on one of the hottest day of the year. We can't blame them though; the sun beautifully lit their rooftop ceremony and we couldn't have asked for anything better. 5 THINGS WE LOVED ABOUT THIS WEDDING 1. The Florals. We usually always start our day with the details after we meet and greet the Bride on the big day; Olivia and David's details did not disappoint! Olivia's bouquet from Young's Florals was filled with gorgeous Orange/Peachy Roses, Baby's Breath, and....wait for it.... SUCCULENTS. This was a bouquet after our own heart. Even the Groom's boutenierre had a baby succulent! 2. The Ceremony Space. Weddings at the Charleston Marriott are undoubtedly beautiful. But, when we found out that David & Olivia decided to get married on the Pavilion Roof Top, we were so excited. They said "I Do" with a gorgeous backdrop of Charleston behind them. 3. The Dress. Literally so fluffy we could die! Olivia was gorgeous in a dress made for a princess. So many layers, so many ruffles! 4. The Bubble Exit. Let's face it, bubbles are put out all the time at weddings and they are usually only utilized by children (or Summer, she freaking loves bubbles). So, we were SO excited that after Olivia & David were announced Mr. & Mrs. the guests actually blew bubbles as they left! It made for one of the best ceremony exits of the year! 5. The Groom's Cake. We absolutely love it when we get to photograph the lovely cakes made by Lil' Bit of Heaven, but this groom's cake literally blew us away! It was a dragon!
