Ashley & Brian || Charleston, WV Couples Photography

We met Ashley and Brian this past weekend during our Spring Mini Sessions. Meeting new couples is always great. As we were chatting and getting ready for their session we found out that they haven’t had professional pictures taken since their wedding; they are approaching their four year anniversary in a few short months (Congratulations lovelies!). We were excited to set things right and get them some updated pictures to hang on their wall, share with loved ones, set as the lock screen on their cells, and anything else they want to do with their new photos.

We were also excited that we had one of our favorite backdrops for their session. Our Spring Mini Sessions took place at the historical Craik-Patton House, located in Charleston West Virginia. We were able to utilize the beautiful Victorian garden and the mansion throughout the session. Ashley and Brian easily moved in front of the camera and took direction well- they were naturals. We even had a little dance break. You know we are suckers for a good twirl. They are so cute and so in love. Just take a look and see for yourself.

See, I told you they were cute and in love!

We love photographing couples who are in love, which is why we love couples and wedding photography so much. But, too often we hear from our couples that they haven’t had photos taken together in a long time. We typically hear couples tell us that they haven’t had photos since their wedding, or once couples have kids they tell us they haven’t had photos taken without the kids. Many times at family sessions we even have couples shocked (in a good way) that Summer and I take a few minutes to split up- with Summer taking photos of the couple and I photographing the child or vice versa. We hear so many times that they love and appreciate this, because after all it is their love that got the whole thing started. So, basically what we are saying is, there is always a reason to have your picture taken with your significant other. It doesn’t have to be for a wedding, children, or another big life event. Your LOVE is a big life event. Have some fun and plan a photo session that shows your personality. Email us at withthelingerhunts@yahoo.com to schedule your couple’s session. If you feel that a full one hour session isn’t for you, try a mini session this Summer, like Ashley and Brian did this Spring (we know you will get hooked and come back for more). We are so glad that these two decided to have picture taken and that they choose us to do it.

Ashley and Brian—we wish you many more years of happens.

XOXO,

C&S
