Tara & Dylan || Charleston, WV Engagement

When we first met Tara & Dylan at Starbucks we chatted for a good hour about every detail of their big day. It didn't even take the full hour for us to know that they were going to be the perfect clients for us! Adorable, in love, and willing to take direction- Dylan wasn't even opposed to taking tons of photos (something that scares many grooms), lol.

Once we started to get in to the planning, Tara mentioned that they had engagement photos done before, but they were excited to have some more done in different locations around Charleston. We quickly set a date and locations and prayed for good weather. So far, this year has been crazy when it comes to weather! Snowing one day, 76 degrees the next, it is hard to plan photos around that!

The day of, we met on Bridge Road before heading to the Carriage Trail, and it was a beautiful overcast day! We chatted, laughed, got some great shots, and bonded with Tara over her love for moss. Tara and Dylan were so in tune with each other and took our coaching so well, we were even able to throw in a spontaneous quick stop in downtown to get some ice cream at Ellen's Homemade Ice Cream!
